What kind of tools and video equipment do I need?
For video equipment, I always say start with what you have! If you have a just smartphone or a webcam, that will work perfectly! I do recommend some light kits and audio recorders/mics when you’re ready, but they’re not absolute essentials when you’re just starting. I’ll also be showing you how to edit in iMovie and Screenflow, so it will be easier to follow along if you’re also on a Mac. If you’re on a PC, I would recommend Camtasia. But the layout is very similar, so you could follow along and apply them to your editing program.
