This summer, I made a vow to spend more time outside practicing my craft. As part of our trip, my friend and I headed out to Painted Hills, Oregon. This was just some of the footage we captured.

It’s easy to forget how sacred this planet is for our livelihood, and that true magic is all around us. This place was truly magical .. so I wanted the title of this short to match.

This region was natively inhabited by the Northern Paiute Natives who were one of the main Shoshonean speaking culture in Oregon. A’ana is Shoshonean for “that place”. That place that touched my heart. I hope it touches yours too.
